The typInstitute is a personal development school that trains Psycho-Spiritual Counsellors & Therapists. It also offers short online courses for specific areas of psychospiritual development.
Our Program
In the standard ‘2 year ‘ Spiritual Counsellors course there are retreats & modular trainings that position the practitioner to evolve their own physical, emotional & spiritual disciplines. This nurtures a student’s development on key personal levels, which leads to benefits of integration and healing in aspects of Self, Sovereignty & in-depth self-knowledge.
It is from recovering the wholeness within, that typInstitutes endeavours to build counsellors and therapists of resilience & excellence.
typInstitute's Approach
typInstitute integrates both Eastern & Western philosophical & psychological disciplines & approaches. From the east it’s the Tantric chakras & their elements and from the west its Transpersonal Psychology with a particular appreciation of Jungian concepts & contemporary experiential techniques.
Bringing together east & west –to train, evolve & heal brings the essences of Yin & Yang, practice & theory, engagement & surrender into a learning paradigm.
The difference of our approach is that we train our counsellors not just with an emphasis of experiential ‘live’ learning, but also with a prioritization of personal inner-work practice.
What this means is that our graduates are conditioned to be comfortable under pressure in an embodied capacity and can supplement their strength through applied personal practice.
